From the first bite of homemade pasta to the rich, savory flavors of their slow-cooked meats, it’s clear that each meal is prepared with care and passion.

One of the standout dishes on the menu is the "Cappelletti alla Spoletina," a traditional pasta stuffed with a delicate mixture of meat and served in a flavorful broth. This dish exemplifies the heart and soul of Umbrian cuisine. For those craving a taste of the land, the "Tagliata di Manzo" is a must-try, featuring tender, juicy steak cooked to perfection and served with a simple yet delicious rosemary and garlic sauce.

Vegetarians will find plenty of options as well. The "Frittura di Verdure" is a light and crispy assortment of seasonal vegetables, providing a perfect balance to the meat-centric offerings. Speaking of wines, Mangiar Divino has an impressive wine list, featuring local Umbrian wines that perfectly complement the rich flavors of their dishes. The staff is happy to offer wine pairings, ensuring that each glass enhances the meal.

Another highlight of Mangiar Divino is its desserts. The "Torta al Cioccolato" is a rich, decadent chocolate cake that satisfies even the most discerning sweet tooth. For something lighter, try the "Panna Cotta," a silky smooth custard topped with fresh berries.

We stopped here for lunch, we both ordered pizzas and a bottle of wine. I’ve eaten a few pizzas in my last 14 days in Italy and the pizza here was the best so far. Thin, crispy and a good measure of toppings. Service great and a cute little venue that tourists take photos of as they pass by. Fully recommend.

Wonderful, incredible, delicious, and unique food!!!! What a treat it was to find this little hole in the wall restaurant, with the best classic Assisi Italian dishes!!! Our table was tucked away in a very cute and intimate corner, surrounded by bricks and plants….it added to the charm…Very happy with the service from one server who was particularly nice..very great and awesome young man! His name was (BADAR) thank you! :)

Assisi is full of wonderful dinner spots, and this one is definitely worth visiting. The bonus? While the best spots are on the way to the Cathedral of San Rufino (high enough to burn all the pasta one had for lunch), this little gem is right by the Portella di San Giorgio (and aldo where I warmly recommend getting your hotel), making it a comfortable option for those who might find it difficult climbing Assisi.

We had a great experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, everything camer out quickly, and our order was exactly as requested. We were especially happy that the kids received their meals first, since they were very hungry — that thoughtful touch really helped us keep things under control. The service was efficient and incredibly friendly. We definitely recommend this place, whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a full meal.

They opened a few minutes early for us. Food was great. The pizza norcina (with truffle) was wonderful. The chicken salad was simple but so delicious.

A great meal, the best caprese we’ve had in Italy so far. Delicious pastas. Great service and beautiful outdoor eating area.

My wife (MDW) and I just finished another delightful meal at Mangiar di Vino. I ordered an entrée off the menu but MDW requested a entrée that was not on the menu . Our server was not sure that they could accommodate her request but took it to the kitchen. We both got the delicious entrees exactly as requested. My only recommendation is that the Red Wine should be served at CELLAR temperature, not room temperature.
